After becoming increasingly despondent with computer based modern recording were modern artists spend five minutes recording and then two hours editing (a process the band call "Playing Tetris with music") they both decided they wanted to return back to a simpler time when they used to play with 4 track cassette porta studios in the 90's,and have fun again, this in turn resulted in the purchase of a boss micro br80 digital 8 track studio!

The idea was to capture as many "live" takes a possible with ZERO editing or copy and pasting! This resulted in a production style lovingly known as "ghetto metal productions"

The band only had a guitar and the 8 tracks of the boss studio, inspired by the first black Sabbath album recorded in two days on an old 8 track with minimal overdubs the band followed suit.

In homage to that first album and the 8 track studio the band decided to make an album of only eight songs

On top of that due to environmental concerns about saving energy the band bought a rechargeable power supply thus making the album energy efficient or as the band call it, "off grid metal"

The album was written recorded and mixed in a month although actually recording hours together would be more like a four days, the band only used the in built microphones and the boss itself for drum machine, bass samples and guitar amps, the samples themselves were played straight into the boss via an MP3 player a headphone lead and creative use of sound manipulation

And so here it is warts n all for your delectation!
